This is a course in the use of Microsoft Access XP Database software. The aim of this course is to teach the student basic relational database theory and the techniques in creating and using the various database objects supported by Access XP. This course does not assume any prior knowledge of databases or database theory, though such knowledge will be an asset.

Topics covered in this course include: planning and designing databases, working with Access XP, building and modifying tables, building select and action queries, building and modifying forms, viewing and organizing information and producing reports.
